Arsenal have already been quite busy in the January transfer window and could be on the verge of adding a third new face to Mikel Arteta’s team, with a decision on another deal still to be made.
Arsenal have been given a ’24-48 hour ultimatum’ to determine if they want to sign Real Valladolid teenager Ivan Fresneda or withdraw their interest in him.
In the January transfer window, the Gunners have already welcomed two new players to their team. Brighton and Spezia have signed Leandro Trossard and Jakub Kiwior for a combined fee of £48 million.

According to reports, Arsenal have made a £13 million proposal to his current club ahead of a prospective trade, while German heavyweights Borussia Dortmund are also vying for his talents.
The Bundesliga club has reportedly offered Fresneda more first-team action than Arsenal, with the competition at the Emirates Stadium potentially pushing the 18-year-old down the pecking order. Meanwhile, Valladolid are understood to be interested on re-loaning the teenager, with Dortmund apparently willing to match their expectations.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners will now spend the next 24 to 48 hours deciding whether they will continue pursuing Fresneda over the closing days of the window. It remains to be seen if they move onto alternative right-backs should they elect to pull out of the race for his services.
