Arsenal is confident of signing an £80 million man – Arsenal has been urged to sign winger Arteta for £50 million.
Here is a collection of the most recent Arsenal news and rumors from Spylax media that we believe you may have missed –
Iomie Stanley, a reporter, has urged Arsenal to make a deal for Crystal Palace winger Wilfred Zaha.
Zaha, regarded as one of the Premier League’s most dangerous wingers, has been linked with a move away from Crystal Palace for several seasons, but his asking price has been far too expensive.
However, with his present contract expiring at the end of the season, Arsenal have been linked with a move for the attacker, as Mikel Arteta wants to add a striker to his squad.
Zaha scored 14 league goals last season and has continued his impressive form this season, finding the back of the net five times – and Stanley believes the 29-year-old would strengthen most top-six teams, particularly Arsenal, saying the Gunners erred by not signing Zaha in 2019 and instead spending £72 million on Nicolas Pepe.
‘He’d be fantastic at Arsenal, I think,’ he told IcFootballnews.
‘At Arsenal, he’d be a good challenge to the two existing players [Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli] and a nice choice. They should have purchased him when they purchased Pepe!’

Zaha has recently addressed all of the rumours.
‘How many times have I seen my name next to transfer stuff – I never say anything about these things,’ Zaha told Sky Sports
My contract is up when my contract is up and the only thing I am focused on is doing well for the club, that’s it. I take each day as it comes.
‘I don’t know what will happen in the future. I can’t say this is my plan as I’m only fixated on what I’m going to do in training and then on Sunday [against West Ham].
Chelsea, on the other hand, will need to make a significant turnaround if they are to finish in the top four this season. They are now in 10th place, 10 points behind fourth place, and 19 points behind Arsenal at the top.
And, according to The Times, Arsenal are convinced that they can persuade Rice to join them rather than the much-anticipated move to Stamford Bridge.
Rice is a fantastic midfielder who belongs in the Champions League, therefore West Ham fans will not be too harsh on him if he decides to leave the club.
Arsenal currently has a handful of midfielders who do the job Rice does, so it wouldn’t be a stroll in the park side for the Englishman that is for sure.
However, he is a player who can add something to the Arsenal squad, and we are confident that if they can sign him, he will help them get closer to winning more titles every year.
But £80 million is a lot of money to spend, and they’d have to pay him roughly £200,000 every week, so it’s a big commitment.
