When is the draw?

The 2022/23 Champions League bunch stage draw will occur on 25 August in Istanbul, Turkey. It will be streamed live from 4pm on BT Sport in the UK, with past attracts having been accessible to look free of charge on YouTube.

How will the group stage draw work?

There will be 32 teams in the pot, 26 of whom qualified for the group stage automatically and six play-off winners, whose identity will be confirmed on 23 and 24 August.

Are there any stipulations?

No club can draw a team from their own association. For example, Chelsea and Spurs could not be drawn in the same group.

Which pots are Chelsea and Spurs in?

Tuchel’s men and Conte’s side both find themselves in pot 2 alongside fellow Premier League side Liverpool, with Barcelona, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and RB Leipzig also in the second pot.
