Chelsea could have a new signing ready to play against Liverpool after a medical today.
Noni Madueke is expected to get his Chelsea physical tomorrow and might make his debut for the club in Saturday’s crucial Premier League showdown against Liverpool.
The 20-year-old appears to be on the verge of joining Chelsea from PSV, with Fabrizio Romano giving the deal the ‘here we go’ earlier today.

Madueke will sign long term deal in few days, strongly wanted by Chelsea board.

Now, according to Dutch journalist Rik Elfrink, Madueke could be ready to play for Chelsea soon, with the England Under-21 international set to have his medical with the Blues tomorrow, which could mean he’ll be in Graham Potter’s squad for the game against Liverpool, where he’d face old PSV teammates teammate Cody Gakpo

After a dismal season from the likes of Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic, and Hakim Ziyech, as well as summer addition Raheem Sterling, Madueke appears to be an exciting signing for Chelsea.
Mykhaylo Mudryk and Joao Felix also joined CFC in January, providing Potter with a new-look offensive line-up for the second half of the season.
Madueke spent time as a youth at Tottenham and it would be intriguing to watch how he performs now that he is back in London.
So, with that being said, Spylax Media has taken a closer look at what shirt numbers – 1 to 30 – could be available to the Englishman at Chelsea.
1-10
Numbers two and three are available for Madueke, though it’s unlikely as a forward that he’ll pick either of those. The winger wears the No.10 at PSV – a number which is currently taken by Christian Pulisic.
Madueke has also worn the No.7 on a number of occasions at youth level. This number is also taken, this time by N’Golo Kante.
11-20
No numbers between 11 and 20 are available to Madueke. He’s previously worn 15 and 17 in his career, which are taken by new signing Mykhailo Mudryk and Raheem Sterling respectively.
21-30
There is only one number between 21 and 30 available to Madueke. The famous 25, previously worn by Gianluca Zola. This has never been used since the Italian left in 2003.
Madueke has worn the 20 and 23 numerous times in his career, donning the latter before he was awarded the 10 at PSV. His first senior number was 56, which happens to be taken my Omari Hutchinson.
Denis Zakaria and Conor Gallagher wear the 20 and 23, respectively, at Chelsea. The latter has been heavily linked with an exit recently, though it’s unlikely that the Blues will allow the midfielder to leave in January.
