Fábio Carvalho is expected to join RB Leipzig on loan.
Fabio Carvalho, a Portuguese Under-21 international, is allegedly scheduled to join Bundesliga club RB Leipzig on loan from Liverpool.
RB Leipzig are interested in signing Fabio Carvalho, according to Fabrizio Romano. The 20-year-old has not played much for Liverpool and is poised to leave in the summer.
Carvalho rose through the Fulham levels. In the summer of 2021, he was promoted to their first team. The 20-year-old enjoyed an outstanding debut full season with the Cottagers in the Championship, scoring 11 goals and creating eight more for his teammates in 38 appearances.
He was crucial to their promotion to the Premier League. Liverpool signed him after seeing his great performances. However, they were unable to provide him with enough playing time in the 2022/23 season.

Carvalho appeared in 21 games but played for little over 600 minutes. The 20-year-old was dissatisfied with his limited playing time and has been looking for a solution recently. With the player desiring a lengthy run in the first team, Liverpool were forced to consider market possibilities.
While he is not a regular first-team member at the moment, the Portuguese star clearly has a lot of potential. As a result, they do not wish to permanently sell him.
A couple attempts were made to sign him on a permanent basis, but the Merseyside club turned them down. However, because the player is desperate for first-team minutes, they don’t have many options and have decided to loan him away.
Meanwhile, RB Leipzig of the Bundesliga has expressed interest in his services. They are aiming to enhance their team for the upcoming season and believe that having a player with Carvalho’s versatility will be beneficial.
Leipzig has been in talks with Liverpool about a loan move. And, according to Romano, a one-year loan agreement has been reached, with the contract to be signed next week. Carvalho will join the Bundesliga team on a one-year loan until the summer of 2024.
