Five Signings and Eleven exits That Could Reshape the Squad for the Next Premier League Season

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta may have a new squad for the start of next season.

Arsenal will look to add to their great Premier League season with some savvy signings this summer. Mikel Arteta will also want to offload a number of players who are no longer in his plans. Following five additions and 11 departures, Express Sport looks at where the Arsenal squad could be at the start of the new season in August.

Ramsdale, Turner, and Hein are the goalkeepers.

Aaron Ramsdale has signed a new long-term contract with the club and will continue to be the club’s No. 1. Matt Turner was limited to cup action in his first year in England and will have to do so again next season.

Karl Hein has been the third-choice goalkeeper, and he may compete with Arthur Okonkwo for that position next season. Alex Runarsson has been on loan and could make the move permanent this summer.

White, Gabriel, Saliba, Kiwior, Tomiyasu, BOEY, GUEHI, Zinchenko, and Tavares are the defenders.

Kieran Tierney could be coming this summer. Newcastle are interested despite the fact that he has only started five league games this season.

Rob Holding’s time at the club may have come to an end as well. Arteta will seek to bolster his alternatives at right center-back.

The Gunners are interested in Crystal Palace midfielder Marc Guehi, who could replace Holding in the squad. Sacha Boey of Galatasaray has been linked with a move to Arsenal and might help the Gunners’ right-back options.

Partey, RICE, CAICEDO, Odegaard, Smith Rowe, Jorginho, Vieira, Elneny are the midfielders.

This summer, Arsenal’s #1 aim is Declan Rice. Arteta might break the club’s transfer record by paying more than £100 million on England’s star.

Arteta is also interested in Moises Caicedo, who he failed to sign in January. Brighton are aware that they may be forced to sell, but it remains to be seen whether Arsenal can afford both him and Rice.

Granit Xhaka appears to be on his way to Bayer Leverkusen. On Sunday, he scored twice in what could be his final game for Arsenal.

Attackers: Jesus, Nketiah, Martinelli, Trossard, Saka, DIABY, Nelson Arteta is interested in signing a right-sided attacker to compete with and complement Bukayo Saka. Moussa Diaby, who can play on both flanks and is a reported target, will be pricey.

Nicolas Pepe, the club’s biggest acquisition, could leave following his season on loan at Nice. Folarin Balogun is another footballer who has spent the season on loan.

However, he is eager to return to regular football next season and has attracted interest from clubs such as AC Milan. Arteta’s striker options may be Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah, with Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard capable of filling in up top.
