“He Will Be A Good Replacement For Jesus,” Arsenal Eyes A €6.3M Bid For Gabriel Jesus’ Replacement
Brighton & Hove Albion winger Kaoru Mitoma has supposedly piqued Arsenal’s interest as the club continues its search for attacking reinforcements after missing out on Mykhaylo Mudryk, a priority target.
Kaoru Mitoma, the young star of Brighton & Hove Albion, has been added to Arsenal’s January transfer wishlist.
This season, Arsenal has dominated the Premier League. They have an eight-point advantage over second-placed Chelsea. Despite their success on the field and in the league, the north London team has had limited success in the transfer market.
With Gabriel Jesus out with an injury for a lengthy period, Mikel Arteta’s team has been linked to Ukrainian winger Mykhaylo Mudryk. Even though the 22-year-old was Arsenal’s top transfer target, the club chose not to compete with Chelsea. They reportedly outbid Arsenal by paying £89 million to Shakhtar Donetsk for defender Olexandr Mudryk.
The Blues handed Mudryk twice the salary on the table at the Emirates Stadium, adding incredible flair to the high-profile takeover. Arsenal, on the other hand, has been forced to start over in pursuit of a new striker. Leandro Trossard of Brighton and Ferran Torres of Barcelona, among others, have been cited. Despite Arsenal’s interest in Trossard, the club is also keeping a close eye on him tabs on another Brighton player, the speedy winger Kaoru Mitoma.

What’s the report?
Mitoma was bought from Kawasaki Frontale for a very small sum of £2.6 million. For the 2017-18 season, he was loaned to Brighton’s sister club Union Saint-Gilloise. He pleased Brighton enough in Belgium with his polished and impressive play that the club decided to give him a chance in English football the following season.
He’s been on fire in the Premier League since then. He’s appeared 13 times and has three goals and an assist. He was a vital contributor to the Seahawks’ Premier League victory this season and is anticipated to take over on the left side for the departed Trossard. The Japanese international has wowed with his one-on-one skill, speed, agility, balance, technical proficiency, and game intelligence.
Will he sign for the Gunners?
The 25-year-old star will add speed, style, and directness to Arsenal’s assault. Gabriel Martinelli will be able to fill the void left by Jesus’ entrance. At the same time, he shown that he can be an useful substitute at the World Cup and for Brighton at the start of the season.
Brighton’s acquisition of Ben White and Marc Cucurella for around €50 million suggests that Mitoma will not be cheap. However, if Arsenal were to sign him, he would be an excellent substitute for Mudryk. However, he would be less expensive than Raphinha or Ferran Torres.
Edu, the technical director, has already “reached out to Barcelona in search of appropriate alternatives” for Mudryk. According to the report, Arsenal views Trossard “as a player.” as a more-attainable objective” than Mitoma. The Gunners are also reportedly keeping eye on Napoli wonder Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The north Londoners still have time to make an offensive addition, but time is running out.
