Marc Cucurella Responds to Chelsea’s Latest News: Insights on the Player’s Reaction

Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella congratulated the Women’s team on their successful qualification for the Champions League semi-finals.

The Spaniard took to Instagram to express his admiration for Emma Hayes’ team, which advanced on penalties.

The ladies checked the tie several times. However, Maren Mjelde’s penalty in the 128th minute sent the game to penalties, which the Blues won.

A number of Chelsea first-team players were on hand at Stamford Bridge to cheer on the team. Manager Graham Potter and Reece James joined Cucurella in attendance, no doubt eager to see his sister, Lauren.

The Spain international, in particular, congratulated the team on Instagram, writing “let’s go” on a post of the team celebrating.

The Blues’ achievement should not be overlooked, as they defeated the competition’s reigning champions.

Cucurella extends her congratulations to the Chelsea women.

This is a feat that the men’s team must accomplish in order to advance to the same stage of their tournament.

They were drawn against Real Madrid in the competition’s quarter-finals, and the Spanish side defeated the Blues last year on their way to European glory.

Chelsea advanced to this stage of the Champions League after a stunning performance against Borussia Dortmund at Stamford Bridge.

After losing the first leg 1-0, they won the second leg 2-0 thanks to a stellar performance by manager Potter.

The game has so far proven to be Cucurella’s return to form after several games out of the side.

He has looked far more comfortable in recent weeks, playing left centre-back behind Ben Chilwell, and is on the verge of being recalled to the Spain squad alongside Kepa Arrizabalaga.
