Man Utd plot ‘coup of the century’ as Ten Hag exploits transfer ‘betrayal’ and ‘catastrophe’

According to rumors, Manchester United are set to complete the ‘coup of the century’ by buying Kylian Mbappe before Real Madrid.

The Premier League club is still looking for a long-term successor for Cristiano Ronaldo, therefore the Red Devils are looking to improve their offense during the summer transfer window.

More crucially, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag wants to relieve some of the scoring pressure on Marcus Rashford, who has 30 goals in all competitions this season.

Their second-highest goal scorer was midfielder Bruno Fernandes, and with reports stating Manchester United have withdrawn from a potential deal for Tottenham’s Harry Kane, Ten Hag is exploring for alternatives.

Ten Hag’s team may score more goals if they broke their transfer record to get Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Mbappe has informed Paris Saint-Germain that he will not be extending his contract beyond the end of next season, which means the French club is now considering a sale to avoid losing him on a free transfer.

In the 24 hours following the contract announcement, the Red Devils, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and others were connected with Mbappe, but the France international stated that he is now “very happy” at PSG.

However, Mbappe could still go this summer if PSG decides they need to cash in, with rumors that they will demand at least €150 million for the forward.

And now, according to the Spanish newspaper Nacional, Manchester United are preparing for ‘the coup of the century’ by buying Mbappe ahead of Real Madrid this summer.

Man United are ‘willing to outbid Real Madrid for Mbappe,’ according to the source, and the La Liga club have ‘not forgiven Mbappe’s betrayal by renewing with Paris Saint-Germain’.

The Red Devils would ‘spend whatever it takes’ to sign Mbappe before Los Blancos, with Ten Hag’s team ‘prepared to launch its economic strength’.

Real Madrid ‘would need to conclude some big sale’ after spent a fortune on signing Jude Bellingham before they could compete for Mbappe.

It is now conceivable that PSG ‘forces his sale’ this summer, even though it would be a ‘catastrophe’ for the French club to lose Neymar, Mbappe, and Lionel Messi, who has joined Inter Miami, in the same summer.
