Manchester City duo break silent on leave speculation as Leicester midfielder draws closer to a transfer to the Etihad.

Following a hectic start to the season, Manchester City experienced its first relatively calm day in the transfer market over the weekend.

Riyad Mahrez broke his silence on a prospective move to Saudi Arabia in the coming weeks on Saturday, while Bernardo Silva commented on the possibility of his move this summer, with the Portugal international anticipated to seek an exit.

However, there were few new additions as Manchester City continues to pursue the Croatian international duo and bring Mateo Kovacic and Josko Gvardiol into the club before their pre-season tour of Asia.

As the summer transfer market opens in 2023, here is a complete look at all that has been written about the Etihad Stadium and their makeover of the first team roster.

Arrivals

Manchester City is the frontrunner to sign Leicester City midfielder Tyresse Noubissie. The triple champions are optimistic following the current talks, while prominent teams like as Newcastle, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool have identified him as a quality player in his age group. Departures

“I have two years left in Manchester,” Riyad Mahrez said of the potential of leaving Manchester City this summer. So far, nothing has been discovered. I’m concentrating on these two [international] games before taking a break.”

If Benjamin Pavard leaves Bayern Munich during the transfer window, Kyle Walker has been identified as a possible replacement. The 33-year-old’s contract expires in a year, with no indication of an extension.

“I’ll be very honest, I don’t know,” Bernardo Silva says of the potential of a Manchester City exit this summer. We’ll see in the next days. Even if I did know, there would be no room to discuss it [on the national team]. I’d love to win a Euro or a World Cup for Portugal.”

Carlos Borges could be used in a deal for Declan Rice by Manchester City. Kalvin Phillips refuses to transfer, and West Ham are rumored to be interested in highly rated adolescent Borges.

Enzo Maresca has agreed to join Leicester City.
