Manchester City releasing ‘public and private statements on Jack Grealish
Manchester City sends official on ‘spying’ mission – Transfer planning in the works
Manchester City has issued ‘public and private statements’ regarding Jack Grealish.
According to recent information, Manchester City is protecting Jack Grealish by issuing ‘public and private remarks’ while some publications continue to speculate about his long-term future.
Following the completion of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the City forward has experienced a considerable improvement in his performances for his club, delivering a far larger return in front of goal in contrast to his form previous to the international competition.

Since rejoining Manchester City in December, Jack Grealish has contributed three assists and one goal in five games for Pep Guardiola’s side, with his most recent strike coming in the Manchester derby at Old Trafford.
However, his early season record, combined with his troubles in his first season following a £100 million trade from Aston Villa, has sparked speculation about his future in east Manchester, with some reports even suggesting that Grealish may be used in a player swap deal.
However, transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has quickly denied such speculations, suggesting that Grealish might be on his way out of the Etihad Stadium just two years after signing from Aston Villa.
“I haven’t heard anything about Jack Grealish discussions on either the player’s or the club’s side,” Romano stated. “It’s January, so thinking about summer moves is premature.”
Fabrizio Romano goes on to say that the Premier is also a snob.
It is also further revealed by Fabrizio Romano that the Premier League champions are doing their upmost to protect the player from transfer speculation, as he continued, “City keep protecting him in public and private statements.”
Grealish and his Manchester City teammates will be focused on the difficult task at hand in the Premier League for the time being, with the 2-1 defeat to Manchester United on Saturday afternoon leaving them eight points behind champions Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta’s side, and their five-point advantage over City following the derby, were preserved and capitalized on 24 hours later, when they defeated Tottenham Hotspur 0-2 at White Hart Lane.
Manchester City will next face Antonio Conte’s team on Thursday night, in what will be another must-win match for the reigning Premier League winners if they are to maintain their top-flight title.
