Manchester City will start the 2023/24 Premier League season against Burnley.
Champions of the Premier League Manchester City’s quest for an unprecedented fourth consecutive title will begin when the 2023/24 season goes off against promoted Burnley.
City are currently enjoying an extraordinary season in which they won the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League trebles, establishing the club as one of the greatest of all time.
They will soon enjoy a holiday before beginning preparations for the new Premier League season, which begins on Friday, August 11 at Turf Moor against Championship winners Burnley.
In other opening weekend action, Premier League newcomers Luton Town will face Brighton in their first top-flight match since 1992 on Saturday, August 12.
The biggest game of the weekend will take place at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, when Mauricio Pochettino takes command of Chelsea for the first time in the league against Liverpool, with both teams hoping to make a fresh start after a disappointing season.
In other matches, Arsenal will want to build on their previous season’s success when they face Nottingham Forest on Saturday, while Newcastle United play Aston Villa the same evening. Manchester United finish the first round of matches against Wolves at Old Trafford on Monday.
The Premier League 2023/24 season begins on Friday, August 11th.
