Noni Madueke is reportedly considering leaving Chelsea in January due to limited playing time under manager Mauricio Pochettino, as disclosed by sources to TEAMtalk.

Despite Chelsea’s abundance of midfield and creative options, Madueke has struggled to secure a spot in the starting XI, featuring in only six Premier League matches this season, with one start and approximately 120 minutes of playing time. The 21-year-old, who joined Chelsea in January for £29 million from PSV, has yet to contribute a goal or assist in the league this term.

Frustrated by his lack of game time, Madueke is said to be open to exploring a move in January to secure more playing opportunities. While Chelsea is keen to retain the young winger, a loan move in January is considered a viable option.
Madueke, who signed a seven-year contract with a club option for an additional year, has faced managerial changes since arriving at Stamford Bridge, working under Graham Potter, Frank Lampard, and now Pochettino.

Currently behind players like Raheem Sterling and Mykhailo Mudryk in the pecking order, Madueke’s potential loan move aligns with Chelsea’s expected activity in the January transfer window, where several players might depart.
Despite having a contract until 2030, the winger could seek a move to enhance his playing time and catch the attention of England manager Gareth Southgate ahead of Euro 2024.

If Chelsea decides to part ways with Madueke, a permanent deal could be negotiated for approximately £35 million.
