Paul Pogba has already hinted at Man Utd return stance as Juventus hit with 15 point deduction
As Juventus faces a 15-point deduction, Paul Pogba has already hinted at a return to Manchester United.
Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has expressed his thoughts on a comeback to the club, despite some supporters demanding for his return to Old Trafford.
Pogba returned to Old Trafford from Juventus in 2016, but things did not go as planned, with a poor second tenure that did not see him reach the heights predicted.
He rejoined the Old Lady in the summer but has yet to play for the club due to injury.
Given Juventus’ recent off-field troubles, several United fans have stated that they would welcome the Frenchman back to Old Trafford.
However, in an Amazon Prime Documentary titled ‘The Pogumentary’ Pogba spoke about his feeling towards his former club.

“My thought process is to prove Manchester (United) that they made a mistake in waiting to grant me a contract,” he told The Express.
“And to demonstrate to other teams that Manchester erred in not offering me a contract.”
A nearly impossible comeback
The player still harbors resentment at United, making a return extremely difficult.

He also departed under a cloud, so even if some fans want him back, he’s unlikely to have a warm welcome when he returns.
He’s a player who has thrived for his country, winning the World Cup with them in 2018, but he could’ve accomplished more at club level.
Juventus are currently embroiled in a transfer scandal and as a result, have been docked 15 points by Serie A.
This lengthens their journey back to success even further, so if Pogba stays, he may have to wait a while before he sees any success.
Despite their troubles, he has previously stated that he is content with Juventus.
“Juventus came from two years in which they did not win the Scudetto,” Pogba continued. It was a good test for both of us, and perhaps it was time to band together and strive to reclaim our due place: me and Juventus.
“I know deep inside that this jersey is something exceptional. It brings out the best in me. We made a good history with this team, which I will never forget, even after I leave.”
Meanwhile United are heading in the right direction under new manager Erik ten Hag, and with new midfield additions of Christian Eriksen and Casemiro, Pogba is a distant memory.
