Riyad Mahrez slammed a supporter who questioned his demeanor during Manchester City’s FA Cup final victory over Manchester United.

Mahrez was an unused replacement as Manchester City defeated their cross-town rivals 2-1 at Wembley Stadium on Sunday to win their second trophy of the season.

Ilkay Gundogan scored twice as Chelsea try to complete a historic treble against Inter Milan in the Champions League final on Saturday.

Pep Guardiola is prepared to pitch the same team in Istanbul, with the exception of Stefan Ortega, which means Mahrez will likely start on the bench.

A fan questioned the winger’s demeanor during the team’s celebrations since he appeared dissatisfied in a video that surfaced online.

However, the 32-year-old, who has appeared in 47 games in all competitions this season, has denied being unhappy, lashing out on Twitter.

“Another good example of why paying to be verified doesn’t give your bs any credit,” he tweeted. Me responding to your tweet should tell you more about the issue than me not running on video lol.. next time just sit back and enjoy.”

The Algerian international, who has three goals in his team’s Champions League campaign, might make his debut against Inter as Guardiola seeks the ‘Big Ears’ trophy.

“One more to go – they believe we are in a position we will never be in again.” We’ll take two days off, then prepare for [Inter] Milan with three or four training sessions before going there to try,” he stated following Saturday’s win.

“Yes, what a privilege – we are one game away. We already won the FA Cup, we won the Premier League.”
